Houston Stock Up Showcase Top Performers Vol 6

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig Texas Showcases are back!  We had some big events that were held at the Competitive Edge Sports Complex on July 25^th.  The Houston Stock Up showcase was amazing! These events always bring together athletes from across the state looking to compete in front of college coaches while being evaluated by Prep Dig scouts and court coaches. There were tons of awesome players that we evaluated from their awesome production. Showcases like this continue to provide a valuable platform for athletes to be seen, tested, and recognized for their individual performance and intangibles. The 5'4" Foster product earned her Top Performer award at the Houston Showcase by competing hard from the opening drill to the final scrimmage and never letting the physicality of taller hitters or blockers around her change how she approached the ball. Her serve receive was reliable and her back row presence gave her team a player they could count on in every rotation. Court coaches appreciated the competitive fire she brought and the way she kept fighting for every ball regardless of what the last play looked like. At 5'4" in the 2028 class she has figured out how to make her game work without relying on size and that is a skill that translates. The 5'6" outside hitter from St. Agnes played with good timing at the pin and showed she can generate real attacking production without a significant height advantage by being smart about her approach and her shot selection. Her effort level was consistent throughout both sessions and she competed with a presence that made her easy to track on a busy floor. New Age volleyball club has been developing her tools and the results showed up in Spring. She is a 2030 prospect with a good foundation and a lot of time to build on it. The A&amp;M Consolidated setter earned her Top Performer award at the Houston Showcase by keeping the offensive system moving smoothly with players she had just met and finding ways to get the ball to the right person at the right time throughout the day. Her footwork was one of the things court coaches pointed to most often in their evaluations and the consistency of her release point across a full day of competition was genuinely impressive. She competed with energy and kept her hitters engaged and connected even when the momentum shifted. MoCo Jrs has put her in a quality development environment and the work is showing up in her game.
