Stock Up Showcase Top Performers

The Class of 2028 put together an unforgettable club season, and every tournament seemed to showcase just how deep this group is. From nationally recognized prospects already committed to play at the next level to rising stars whose recruiting journeys are just beginning, this class is loaded with talent.   The level of competition, athleticism, and growth we witnessed throughout the season made this one of the most exciting classes to evaluate. Every weekend brought new breakout performances and plenty of players making strong cases to climb the rankings.   Here are the players who stood out from beginning to the end of the showcase:    Fresh off her commitment to the University of Arizona, Nikolina Djordevich put together another outstanding performance that reminded everyone why she's one of the top players in the Class of 2028. Her ability to attack effectively from both pins makes her incredibly difficult to defend, and she consistently found ways to impact the match regardless of the situation.   What impressed us just as much was her relentless effort. Nikolina chased down every ball, competed for every point, and never took a play off. She combines elite physical ability with tremendous composure, all while being a supportive teammate and carrying herself with great maturity on and off the court.   She's the complete package, and we're excited to watch the impact she'll make during the upcoming high school season.     Alayah Krein is the type of player every coach wants on the floor. No matter the situation, she simply finds a way to get the job done. Whether she's attacking in system, putting away an out-of-system ball, or making a hustle play on defense, Alayah consistently impacts every phase of the game.   She's a dynamic six-rotation outside hitter with the ability to score from both the front and back row, and her relentless defensive effort makes her just as valuable behind the attack line. What continues to impress us most is her versatility. During the high school season, she seamlessly stepped into the setter role for O'Connor while continuing to contribute as an outside hitter—a testament to her volleyball IQ and all-around skill set.   Her work ethic, competitiveness, and dedication to improving are evident every time she takes the court. Alayah is one of the most complete players in the Class of 2028, and we're excited to watch her continue to shine during the upcoming high school season.     Aileen Nimijan put together an outstanding performance on the right side, proving why she's one of the most intriguing front-row players in the Class of 2028. Her blocking was exceptional throughout the showcase, consistently pressing over the net and making life difficult for opposing hitters. She read the game well, communicated effectively with her setters, and made smart adjustments as the day progressed.   Offensively, Aileen was just as impressive. She showcased a fast, efficient approach, a quick arm swing, and the ability to tool blockers or find open court with confidence. Her combination of size, timing, and volleyball IQ makes her a complete right-side attacker who impacts the game on both sides of the net. We're excited to watch her carry that momentum into the high school season and continue her development.     Leala Pittsley was one of the biggest standouts at the showcase, turning heads with her explosive arm swing and ability to score from both pins. She attacks with outstanding timing, closes the block effectively, and is constantly in transition, making herself available as an offensive option on every play.   If there were one word to describe Leala, it would be relentless. She is always working—whether it's pursuing the next ball, making the extra effort, or striving to improve every aspect of her game. That motor, combined with her physical tools and competitive mindset, makes her an incredibly exciting player to watch. We're looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes at Chandler this high school season.     Madison Pullen (MJ) was one of the most impressive setters at the showcase, standing out with her polished technique and command of the court. Her jump setting was exceptionally clean, allowing her to deliver a consistent, accurate ball while keeping blockers guessing with her quick release.   Beyond her setting, MJ made her presence felt in every phase of the game. She covered a tremendous amount of court defensively, communicated constantly with her teammates, and showed outstanding leadership throughout the day. Despite not being the tallest player on the floor, she competed fearlessly at the net, using smart footwork and great timing to make an impact in the front row.   Her court awareness, ball distribution, and competitive mindset make her an exciting young setter, and she's certainly one we'll be keeping a close eye on as her career continues to develop.     Bella DeLeon put together an outstanding performance at the showcase and quickly established herself as one of the top front-row performers in attendance. She impressed us with her quick arm swing, smooth lateral movement, and ability to cover ground efficiently along the net.   Her blocking was just as impactful, consistently pressing with purpose and challenging opposing hitters. Offensively, she attacked with confidence and generated tremendous power, making her a difficult matchup throughout the day. Bella has all the tools to be a major force during the upcoming high school season, and we're excited to follow her journey and watch her continue to develop.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   The 2026 Summer Showcases were an incredible way to wrap up the club season, and we couldn't be more excited about the talent we saw on display. The future of Arizona volleyball is incredibly bright, and we're grateful to have had the opportunity to watch so many players compete.   This is just the beginning.
