These five athletes finished last season with some of the strongest ace totals in 4A. However, the attempts and errors give us another piece of the story. Serving consistently takes confidence, repetition, and the ability to keep applying pressure without giving away too many points.

Here are five 4A servers worth watching.

Clementi finished last season with 87 aces across 377 attempts. She also recorded 57 errors, giving her plenty of opportunities to put pressure on opposing teams. That volume shows she was not afraid to take her chances behind the service line. With another season ahead, Clementi has a strong foundation to build from.

Hall put together 86 aces on a hefty 489 attempts last season. That is a lot of opportunities to make an impact, and she continued to find ways to create pressure. Her 61 errors show that she was willing to stay aggressive. With that much serving experience already under her belt, Hall is a player to watch as the season gets rolling.

Castano Velazquez finished with 86 aces on 329 attempts, while keeping her errors to 52. That combination stands out. She found plenty of success without needing nearly as many attempts as some of the other top servers on this list. When a player can create that kind of production, the serve becomes another way to shift momentum.

Wilson's numbers jump off the page for a different reason. She recorded 84 aces on an impressive 525 attempts while making just 29 errors. That is a huge amount of serving volume with very few mistakes. Her consistency is especially notable, showing that she could keep pressure on opponents without constantly giving points away.

Saenz rounds out the group with 84 aces on 392 attempts and only 35 errors. She found a strong balance between aggression and control throughout the season. Those numbers show that she was able to create opportunities while limiting mistakes. That kind of consistency can become a major weapon over the course of a season.

The Numbers Are Worth Watching

Aces will always grab attention, but the full stat line matters too. Attempts show opportunity, while errors give us a look at how often that aggression came with a cost.

Clementi, Hall, Castano Velazquez, Wilson, and Saenz all found ways to make serving a real part of their game last season. Now, it is time to see what they do with another season ahead.
