Coweta Invitational All Tournament Team and Recap

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend we were at the Coweta invitational. The tournament mainly consisted of teams in class 5A but also saw perennial powerhouse Lincoln Christian. It was a round robin format where each team got 6 matches and played everyone. Let's look at the players who made the All Tournament team and how the tournament itself shook out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>All Tournament:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='666302' first='Addison' last='Doyle']- Middle Blocker for Claremore. She was voted the MVP of the tournament. Her power and aggressiveness in her swings and blocks will definitely catch your eye, but it's her high IQ that has her efficiency through the roof. She is a game changer for the Zebras. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='766939' first='Harlow' last='Brown']- Outside Hitter for Lincoln Christian. She Was six rotations of solid production. She is a cornerstone for this team‘s offense and the success they're having.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Aniyah Hopper- Defensive Specialist for Tahlequah. Aniyah was flying around in every match. Her ability to get digs that seemed just had to reach is tough to beat.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='874974' first='Aubrey' last='Feeley']- Setter for Lincoln Christian. Aubrey runs the 5-1 offense for the Bulldogs. You cannot forget about her when she is in the front row as an attacking option. She also did a solid job serving and helping get her defense in a favorable position.<br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='285769' first='Grace' last='Baughman']- Setter/Right Side Hitter for Claremore. Grace is a stat stuffing type of player. She contributes in all sorts of ways, and it is hard to qualify the impact she has. she has a very high hitting efficiency and leads the team and aces and assists.<br><br>Kate Timmerman- Outside Hitter for Glenpool. She might be a little undersized, but she's got plenty of vertical and athleticism to help make up for it. Definitely don't let her have an opening in the block, she will pile drive it through for a kill.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lilly Hamm- Libero for Rejoice Christian. This weekend was the first games for Rejoice and Lilly helped anchor both their offense and defense with her passing. this team is full of hustle and heart, and she embodies both.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Niya Willoby- Right Side Hitter for Lincoln Christian. Niya has a ton of power. She cranked plenty of balls down the line from the right side. Most teams don't see that very often and she made them pay for it. She is definitely a player that should play at the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='874963' first='Brooklyn' last='Barnett']- Outside Hitter for Sapulpa. Brooklyn was a steady attack option all weekend. Her out of system consistency and power goes along way for new head coach, Hannah Kemp.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='904386' first='Kennedy' last='Cain']- Outside Hitter for Coweta. She may only be a freshman, but she packs a punch in her swing.
