About Ava

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength as a player is I have a high vertical, I have explosive lower-body power, fast court movement, and strong spikes.

What are you working to improve right now?

I am working on not getting in my head after every mistake, and I have working on hitting better/

What are you looking for in a college program?

What I am looking for in a college is strong academic quality, hands-on career training, and good support services.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of volleyball, coaches should know that I am respectful, hardworking, and always willing to learn. I have good body language, communicate well with my teammates, and try to stay positive even when things get difficult. I am coachable and take feedback because I want to improve on how I play.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I am interested in studying a physical therapist. I would like a career where I can work with athletes, help people recover from injuries, and be involved in sports.
