About Lora

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength as a player is my work ethic and coachability. I’m always willing to learn, make adjustments, and put in the effort needed to improve. In games, this shows through my communication, hustle, positive attitude, and determination to compete on every point. I want to be the type of teammate who brings energy, supports others, and does whatever my team needs to be successful.

What are you working to improve right now?

Right now, I’m focused on becoming a more complete player by improving my consistency, volleyball IQ, and confidence on the court. I’m working on making smarter decisions during plays, improving my shot selection, and continuing to develop the mental side of my game. My goal is to keep learning and becoming a player my team and coaches can rely on.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a program that challenges me to become the best player, student, and person I can be. I want a competitive team with a strong culture where coaches and teammates support each other, build strong relationships, and grow together on and off the court while continuing to develop academically and athletically.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of volleyball, I’m a straight-A student in Gifted and Talented and enjoy challenging myself academically. I’m involved in leadership and service opportunities, including Student Leadership, FCA, KYA, Kentucky Teen Council, and Lincoln Trail Young Achievers. My faith is an important part of who I am, and I strive to lead with integrity, encourage others, and continue growing.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I am interested in studying education and business, especially areas that allow me to work with and positively impact others. I enjoy leadership, communication, and helping people grow, so I’m interested in a career where I can combine those skills. I’m still exploring my exact path, but I know I want to pursue something meaningful where I can lead, serve, and make a difference.
