Starting Off Strong: Mountain Vista vs. Valor Christian

Everyone came ready to play, big players stepped up, and there were contributors all over the court. Those two cover the floor like nobody's business, and Morella brings a great feel for the opposing offense. She can adjust forward or drop back with ease and stays ready for whatever shot comes her way. Her platform is another piece that stood out. She is a big-play middle who can be a real option when her team needs a sideout. When the ball is there, Warta is ready. She stays available and gives Mountain Vista another player they can trust in important moments. One thing that stood out was how ready she remained, even during plays when she was not the primary option. She made herself available and stayed active, which allowed her to step in when the opportunity came. When she got her swings, Prellwitz showed a nice feel for shot selection. On top of that, those 22 digs show just how much she contributes outside of setting.
