With all of the skills of a primary passing outside hitter, Lydia is a strong, smart and highly-skilled pin attacker with all of the shots in the book and the vision to vary those shots depending on what the opposing defense gives her. Her whip of an arm swing is faster than a lot of attackers older than her, and she’s got the volleyball acuity to score points in any situation.

Without a doubt, the 11-1 Chargers have Lydia to thank for the amazing start to their season. Miss Mead has DOUBLE the amount of kills that the next athlete has on their roster. Normally, having all of that offensive pressure put on a player is usually reserved for upperclassmen. When everyone in the gym knows where the ball is going, do they fold or do they fight? Lydia is a clear fighter, and will use her size and skill to prove it night-in and night-out.
