Dubuque Senior was operating out of a 6-2 when I watched it play host to Iowa City High earlier this week. Schulte was working in combination with a senior, taking advantage of her time on the court and flashing promise for the future. The sophomore is a good athlete that moves fluidly around the floor and gets to her spots. She can put the ball on the money and is building a connection with a young group of attackers capable of terminating points when the bond is in place. Her athleticism and lateral quickness help her defend and pick up the ball in serve-receive. Schulte has a chance to grow her game with more reps and is a player whose volleyball development will be interesting to watch moving forward.
