Bringing the size and elevating the confidence at the net. Standing at 6'2 with a powerful approach, she pulls the block and keeps defenders on their toes. Drawing much attention to the middle with her ability to transition and swing from anywhere, consistently finding her setter and making herself an option offensively. On the defensive side of the net, Sayge puts up a troubling block with impressive timing and reach, giving opponents a hard time finding scoring angles.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Haley Hobbs, an aggressive middle blocker from Mansfield High, for the class of 2029. Keeping a quick tempo at the net and fighting to put the ball down every chance she gets. With a team dominating the up tempo, quick to kill play, Haley has all the momentum behind her to be the explosive and competitive middle she is. Great energy, good tempo, and a driving behind her, she has all the room and momentum to grow into a dominating middle this season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Ashlyn Santana, a 2029 middle blocker for Flower Mound high. Standing ranked #7 in division 5-6A she is making her statement on the court. Her confident swing and strong block at the net sets her apart as a versatile middle this season. Able to score and protect her defense puts her on opponent's scout sheets, forcing the preparation to handle the threat of her game. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Defensive Specialists</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='972702' first='Addison' last='Hartnett'], a defensive specialist for a strong Byron Nelson team. Thriving on controlled and consistent passing from the back court, emphasizing the discipline behind her game. pushing a clean pass to target time and again, ensuring the offense with a consistently timed tempo. Trusting her training and relying on read and footwork, Addison brings a strong poise to the game. Her ability to read and react with no chaos inflates the confidence and maintains the momentum on her side of the court.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='907709' first='Alina' last='Pinter'], a 2029 Ds/Libero for Duncanville high school. Leading the defense with confidence and poise against strong, heavy hitters. She maintains control by reading before reacting, trusting her transition footwork to get her in the right spot, and seeing the ball make contact with a solid platform. Alina's ability to create a controlled first touch for her team is impressive and vital to the success of the offense. With her in running the backcourt, Duncanville has a promising advantage against strong offensive teams.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Grace Degraaf, a 2028 Ds/Libero for Flower Mound High School. Leading the defense vocally and by example with quick and reactive footwork. Transition and reactive play highlight her elite ability to play defense throughout an entire match. Trusting her read and pushing her teammates to react in time with her highlights her leadership and IQ on the court. With Grace running the backcourt and leading vocally, this Flower Mound team will continue to give a tough matchup.</p>
