Alina Pinter Alina Pinter 5'1" | DS/L Duncanville | 2029 State TX , a 2029 Ds/Libero for Duncanville high school. Leading the defense with confidence and poise against strong, heavy hitters. She maintains control by reading before reacting, trusting her transition footwork to get her in the right spot, and seeing the ball make contact with a solid platform. Alina’s ability to create a controlled first touch for her team is impressive and vital to the success of the offense. With her in running the backcourt, Duncanville has a promising advantage against strong offensive teams.

Everything Alina Pinter Alina Pinter 5'1" | DS/L Duncanville | 2029 State TX does on the volleyball floor has to be earned through positioning and anticipation and at the Dallas Sophomore ID Camp she earned plenty. Her eye tracking was apparent when we saw her move toward a spot well before the ball was even contacted from the serve or attack from the opposing player.  This kind of pre-contact movement is what separates the good liberos from the great liberos. The platform she brought to serve receive was technically sound and held up consistently throughout the day even as the pace of the competition increased in the scrimmage segments. She is not a player who makes one or two spectacular plays and disappears. She was present on every single contact and that reliability is what court coaches value most at the libero position. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
