Texas 2028 State Ranking New Additions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The State Rankings release is here!!! We have unveiled the top 101 players in this latest publishing of the 2028 class. Her serve is the first thing evaluators notice. Back-to-back aces in a championship match that flipped the momentum of a pivotal set is the kind of clutch contribution that tells you everything about how a coaching staff views a player in pressure moments. Her platform mechanics and court reading have been ahead of her class year since she first stepped into a varsity lineup and both have continued to sharpen with each passing season. She has collected Player of the Match recognition multiple times throughout her career not because of one spectacular performance but because she delivers on a consistent basis. The anticipation she shows in the back row, positioning herself before the hitter contacts the ball rather than reacting after, is the quality that separates her from players who are simply athletic at the libero position. The ranking is well earned and the timeline ahead of her in this class is a long and promising one. Prep Dig scouts who have written about her have described her as one of the pillars of her club team and the reason is straightforward: she does not make unnecessary errors and her game holds up across the full competitive demands of a match rather than producing in spurts. She passes reliably, serves with purpose, contributes defensively without being a liability, and attacks with a smart controlled swing that finds the floor in a variety of situations rather than relying on one preferred shot. The volleyball IQ behind that swing is what allows her to be productive when the set is imperfect and that quality is what earns a six-rotation outside hitter a roster spot at the next level. Our scouts have who have watched her describe her as error-free and complete, two words that do not get attached to many prospects in this class. Ranked 68th overall in the Texas 2028 class, the path to a higher number on that list runs directly through continuing to do exactly what she has already been doing. She got there by being extremely well-rounded and that is the hardest way to earn it. That combination at the net is already compelling on its own. What makes the profile more interesting is the blocking. She holds her hands high at the press/point of contact and brings the upper body strength to legitimately compete with attackers one on one rather than just occupying space and hoping for a tool. I also love how she turns her outside hand toward zone six to redirect the ball back into the court. She helped Weiss reach the UIL 5A Division II State Championships last fall and produced well enough to help her team earn that stage against some of the best competition in the classification. Ranked 59th overall in the 2028 class by Prep Dig, the physical tools and competitive track record are both pointing in the same direction and the programs that identify her early will be glad they did. This young lady is a tough out for anyone to go up against and she is able to play six rotations from either side.
