The State Rankings release is here!!! We have unveiled the top 83 players in this latest publishing of the 2029 class. We have been watching the 2029 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up in the rankings due to their individual performances.

Sixteen digs and 13 kills in the same match recently is not a small sample. That kind of dual contribution reflects a player who impacts the game on both sides of the ball rather than being protected in one phase of it. Earlier this season she posted nine kills, eight digs, and four aces in a single performance and the trend of contributing offensively and defensively in the same competition has been consistent throughout the fall. The libero and outside hitter designations she carries are both accurate descriptions of how she plays rather than optional labels on a profile page. Her competitive instincts and willingness to take on a large role within a lineup speak to a player who wants the ball in pressure moments rather than one who shrinks from them. She is a new addition to the Texas 2029 class ranking list and the production she is generating across multiple statistical categories simultaneously makes the recognition feel overdue. College coaches evaluating the 2029 class should put her on their evaluation calendar before this season closes. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

Her head coach described her in specific terms after she posted 27 kills in a four-set win recently. A smart hitter with a bag of tricks. She can tip, roll, and swing aggressively and she reads the defense while she is still in the air rather than committing to one shot at the start of her approach. That kind of decision-making at contact is what makes her so difficult to defend because blockers cannot key on her tendencies the way they can with hitters who telegraph their intentions. She followed that 27-kill performance with 23 kills in a separate match and was named best player at the Spikefest tournament before the season even reached district play. Her coach also noted that the more she is fed as a hitter the more opportunities open up for the players around her, which is the description of an attacker who forces the defense to collapse and creates offensive advantages that extend beyond her own production. Pioneer is 28-2 and she is the primary reason defenses have to plan differently when they face this team. The Texas 2029 class has real outside hitter talent and Hill belongs in that conversation. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

[player_tooltip player_id='849947' first='Ashley' last='Blaine'] is 6'0" at the outside hitter and right side positions and all of our Texas scouts agree that she is well-developed for a player her age. The length she brings to either pin creates a contact point and blocking presence that defenses have to account for on both sides of the ball. Her ability to contribute at both the left and right side gives a coaching staff real flexibility in how they use her and that versatility is a quality that translates well when the game speeds up at the next level. The net presence she brings as a blocker is a specific strength generating a physical challenge for opposing attackers that forces them to make adjustments they would not otherwise need to consider. She is a new addition to the Texas 2029 class ranking list and the full picture of what she brings to the floor is what earned her the recognition. We will be watching her progress as she works on her craft and you should also. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.
