Blain will play for TX Legacy 15 Elite in the 15 Invitational Division. A true six-rotation pin hitter, she’s a real asset on both sides of the ball, providing defensive stability and significant scoring power to her teams. Blaine is an elite scorer who uses her length and arm speed extremely well to put the ball down, but can also tool the block or score off tips when needed. She’s very comfortable and reliable in serve-receive and stands out on defense for her excellent positioning and superior ball control.

Miss Blaine is currently an unranked prospect in the 2029 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays for Concordia Lutheran High School and also plays for the Texas Legacy volleyball club. At Prep Dig Texas, we know talent when we see it and this young lady has that “It Factor” that all coaches want in their star left side attackers. She is capable of playing all six rotations in impressive fashion with both ball control and a killer instinct. Every college coach is in search of what they call a “terminating pin attacker” and that is exactly who Ashley is. There is on doubt in my mind that you will be seeing her name at the top of high school stat sheets in the coming years with how devastating her swing is. Blessed with the amazing ability to turn on the ball in mid-air to throttle the ball down the line, she is a point scoring threat every single time she gets the attempt. Her long arms and incredible timing allow her to contact the ball at the peak of her reach and it makes her one difficult attacker to block from the opposition. We will be watching her closely this season and you should as well. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Blaine helped her TX Legacy 15 Elite team tie for fifth place over the weekend with a campaign of three wins and two losses. She was set on the left, the right and even the middle back position and was very reliable, using her power and length to score when in system and interesting solutions to put the ball down when in difficult situations. Blaine also contributed on the backcourt, serving aggressively and passing at a high level. She was always alert when playing defense and had a lot of success when peeling off the block and controlling sharp-angled swings at the pin.

, a 5’11” pin hitter in the Class of 2029, is already finding a high level of success on the pin. She is excellent at using the block and attacking with sharp, well-placed swings. Her cross-court shot is her power swing, consistently putting pressure on opposing defenses and setters. The way she controls angles and scores from the right side makes her a tough matchup and a standout as she continues to grow her game.

Blaine was a force at the net for the Concordia Lutheran team that tied for third place after collecting four wins and just one loss. A freshman, she was recognized with an All-Tournament Team selection, being one of just two players on the team to get it. Blaine has excellent offensive potential and showed it during the event, as she used her high contact point and quick right arm to score even in difficult situations. She displayed good versatility, swinging at a high level from the left and the right, and calm and confidence to successfully handle her big scoring load as a freshman.
