Diller-Odell has seen plenty of exceptional attackers over the past decade, and the Griffins likely have another in the 2030 class. Day has been borderline unstoppable in her debut prep season, averaging nearly four-and-a-half kills per set on a 0.371 clip. This freshman brings intimidating length to the middle blocker spot and has flourished as a ‘2 tempo’ attacker across the front row. Day’s comfort with slower sets has allowed her to shift to the left side in first-ball situations to keep momentum on Diller-Odell’s side. The Griffins have a chance to eclipse last year’s win total and should go even further with this high-flying freshman.
