Now she leads every junior in Texas with 1,129 assists. The move from libero to the setter spot has been seamless. Her defensive instincts are still there and she was second on her team with 348 digs at the midway point of the season. That background makes her a rare setter who can dig the first ball if need be and also get to her target for the second contact during in-system plays. Her serve is a weapon too and she led her team with 67 aces earlier this fall. In a sweep of Smithville she put up 28 assists with 11 digs and six aces. She was a TSWA and TGCA 2A All-State pick as a sophomore. College staffs looking for a setter who passes and defends like a libero should take a close look. She at least deserves some looks based on her overall ability. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

[player_tooltip player_id='809064' first='Ainsley' last='Anderson'] already knows what a state final feels like. She was the starting setter as a sophomore for a Crawford team that reached the 2A state final and she earned TSWA All-State honors along the way. This fall she has 1,120 assists at 9.6 per set, second among Texas juniors. She is efficient when she attacks also. Earlier this season she was hitting .330 and she has posted five or six kills in several matches from setter dumps or attacks. That threat on two keeps opposing blockers from cheating toward her pins. She also defends well and had 16 digs with two solo blocks in a match against Iola. She has already passed 2,000 career assists as a junior. She is one of the most complete small school setters in the state. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

North Texas got an early jump on one of the best setters in the Class of 2028. Her consistency really stands out. She has put together steady nights like 35 assists against Tyler Legacy and 32 in a sweep of Forney. Alsaid also attacks when the defense gives her space and she added five kills in each of those matches. Her hands are reliable and she keeps a balanced attack involved with several hitters putting up big kill totals. She also contributes on defense with double digit digs against both Tyler Legacy and Longview. With her senior year still ahead, she has time to become one of the top setters in the state.
