Anna Ryan Anna Ryan RS Menlo-Atherton | 2023 CA , 5-10 Setter/Opposite, Jr., Menlo-Atherton – Ryan was instrumental in the Bears claiming the CIF Central Coast Section Division championship as the junior produced a match-high 18 kills and hit .447. She also finished with 14 digs, 2 aces and a block. Ryan’s 18 kills were a season best as she twice registered 17 winners.
Emma Madden, 5-9 Outside, Sr., Burlingame – The Panthers turned to Madden time and time again as they captured the CIF Central Coast Sections Division 3 title by downing Santa Cruz in straight sets. Madden helped power the offense along with 20 kills while hitting .425. It was the third time this season Madden’s had at least 20 kills, including a season-high 22 against Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep on Sept. 7.
Gabby Russell Gabby Russell 5'7" | DS/L Clovis West | 2022 CA , 5-7 Libero/DS, Sr., Clovis West – All Russell did in helping Clovis West to the CIF Central Section Division 1 championship was come up with a season-high 32 digs in the four-set victory over Clovis North. Her previous high was 25 digs against Clovis North back on Oct. 7.
Kristen Landen Kristen Landen 5'9" | S Clovis West | 2022 CA , 5-9 Setter, Sr., Clovis West – It was a big outing for Landen as well as she delivered a season-high 53 assists for the Golden Eagles. Four times she had at least 40 assists, including her previous season high of 49 in beating Clovis to reach the finals. Landen also came through with 10 digs, 2 blocks and a kill.
Grace White Grace White 5'9" | OH Clovis West | 2022 CA , 5-9 Outside, Sr., Clovis West – Continuing a trend, White also had her best match of the season as she ended with the most kills yet at 19. She hit .333 to boot and added 7 digs.
Emma Hendrix, 5-8 Outside, Soph., Maxwell – The sophomore led the way with 11 kills and hit .375 as the Panthers took home the CIF Northern Section Division 7 crown by topping Chester in three sets. Hendrix also had one of the team’s 10 aces.
Emma Daugherty, 5-10 Outside, Sr., Pleasant Valley – The Vikings downed Foothill in the CIF Northern Section Division 2 championship behind a solid all-around match from Daugherty. Her 13 kills were a team high. Her 2 blocks tied for the team lead. Her 3 aces were tied for second most. And her 15 digs were third most in the victory.
Jadyn Hoffman, 5-10 Outside, Fr., East Nicolaus – Hoffman showed up with one of her best performances of the year as the Panthers beat Trinity in the CIF Northern Section Division 5 final. Hoffman finished with 17 kills, her second-most of the season, and hit .302. She also contributed with 7 aces and 10 digs.
