Among volleyball aficionados here in Indiana, Indian Creek is NOT known as a volleyball hotspot. Athletic? Sure. Basketball? You bet. But volleyball? Mattie breaks that mold immediately with her smart play and all-around talents. On multiple occasions, I have personally seen her use controlled, well-placed shots instead of power to score points regularly for her TI squad. Miss Key is a nice pickup for DIII Blackburn, located about halfway between Saint Louis and Springfield (Illinois).
