Olivia was an absolute force of nature on the court. She took huge rips on the ball and had a lethal line shot that stumped even the best liberos in the tournament. What stood about about Olivia is she did not solely rely on that high-level shot. She mixed up her shot locations and speed, making her tough to predict. Olivia was a good defender at the net, and was a contrubitor with her block as well.

Smaller in stature but definitely effective, Olivia is a lefty right side that can hit any angle available to her at any time. I like her ability to hit high and hard while mixing in some off-speed shots to keep defenses honest. Her blocking needs a little work, but with time in the training gym, she’ll understand how to set a block with her middles.

A lefty banger in the front and a setter in the back, Olivia is a game-changer for Indian Creek and her club squad at Academy. She has all of the tools in her toolbox on the attack—-and adjusts enough for what the defense gives her. When setting, she has strong hands and locates the ball well. I like that she can do both skills (attacking and setting) well, and since neither are significantly better than the other, she’s a nice hybrid recruit for a school looking for exactly that.
