<p>This team is loaded from top to bottom with several athletes committed to Division I programs for next fall. They feature some of the premier talent in Ohio, including one who is a Gatorade Player of the Year for Ohio and another that is a member of the USA Volleyball youth national team. </p> <p><strong>Key Players</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="114534" first="Caroline" last="Jurevicius"] - Opp/OH | College: Nebraska<br /> The lone junior on this team and a member of the USA youth national squad, Jurevicius joins a loaded team for their 18U season, bringing with her terrific talent and adding depth. She averaged 4.8 kills per set while hitting .307 for NDCL. Defensively, she averaged 2.1 blocks and 7.1 digs per match. She was a Division II 1st team all-Ohio honoree.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="114450" first="Kathryn" last="Randorf"] - OH | College: Northwestern<br /> Randorf helped guide Gilmour Academy to another Division II state title in 2021 as she averaged five kills per set while terminating 53% of her attempts on the season. She has one of the most powerful arms in the state as she terminated 459 kills on the season to increase her career total to 1408. She was the Gatorade Player of the Year for Ohio last season and selected once again to the DII all-Ohio 1st team.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="137137" first="Abbey" last="Havrilla"] - L | College: Mercer<br /> A Division I all-Ohio 3rd team selection, Havrilla helped guide her Magnificat team to the state title in 2021. The Mercer commit provides great stability at the libero role as she has good patience, reads the game well, and is efficient with her first step reaction to pursue the ball. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="114474" first="Kirsten" last="Barrett"] - S | College: Georgia Southern<br /> One of the best setters in Ohio’s senior class, Barrett had 786 assists over the recent high school season. She and her SJA teammates advanced to the regional finals in Division I. The Division I 1st team all-Ohio selection earned 2570 assists for her career. An offensive minded setter, she also had 400 kills over her four years.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="114487" first="Mya" last="Sopata"] - MB/OH | College North Florida<br /> Sopata is a dynamic athlete as she is explosive off the floor and can terminate with good heat and range. She had 1257 career kills for Nordonia with a career hitting efficiency of .328. She averaged 7.0 kills per set in 2021 that included terminating in double figures every match, the majority of them earning 20+ kills.
