Virginia Elite was upset early in bracket play at the Chesapeake Bid Regional. This left them without a bid. In the qualifiers they also fell short of earning a bid, playing in the USA as well as the Open Division. They did finish third in the Capitol Hill Classic, the last time the team was fully healthy.
