Prospect Watch: 2024 Middles at NEQ

<p>Here are four active and athletic middles to see at NEQ from the class of 2024.</p> <p><strong>Juliette Chandler</strong> - AVC ClevRox 16<br /> Chandler has a very engaged style of play as she works hard and efficiently to keep herself involved on both sides of the ball. Her competitiveness involves consistent activity and communication that helps her be effective. She has good mobility between the pins and gets off the net fast in transition to make herself available to swing. </p> <p><strong>Lillian Croshaw</strong> - Madfrog 16 Green<br /> At 6'3, Croshaw is a key element to this team's offense with her ability to score on quicker tempos in front of the setter and overhead on the right pin. She develops good space and timing to be able to utilize her arm length and power to her advantage and score. Her involvement is key to help balance their offense and create more space for their pins when she can score. </p> <p><strong>Kiylah Presley</strong> - Paramount 16<br /> Presley has a high ceiling. Her ability to get well above the net when approaching bodes well for her future in the sport as she continues to become more fluid in her movement patterns and arm work. She is quick with good explosiveness off the court. When she gets her feet to the ball and the tempo and location allow her to make contact at her peak she most likely will win those opportunities. She has good tools now that are effective for her team but her future is very bright.</p> <p><strong>Riley Resmer</strong> - Boiler Jrs 16 Elite Gold<br /> Resmer's relationship with her setter is terrific in that the tempo of their middle options offensively is fast and requires precision in timing and spacing. Combined with her quickness in her footwork and lift off the court, she creates opportunities to exploit late blocks or space in the defense. She appears equally effective on a gap option in front of the setter as much as she is off one foot overhead. If this team can get in system look for Resmer to see a lot of opportunities offensively when in the front row.</p>
