Six Uncommitted KIVA 17s to Watch

<p>KIVA is featuring some of the state’s top 17-year-old high school volleyball players from the 2023 class in the 2022 club season. </p> <p>A look at six uncommitted KIVA 17s to watch follows. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157441" first="Elle" last="Jackson"] (KIVA 17 Red National)</strong> is a junior defensive specialist/outside hitter from Mercy Academy. Jackson possesses speed and covers the court thoroughly. Able to deliver offensively and defensively, Jackson is quick reacting. </p> <p><strong>Taylor McBride (KIVA 17 White National)</strong> is a junior middle hitter from Male High School. McBride (6-2) provides length and a strong presence along the middle of the net. Poised to take on a larger role for her team during the 2022 high school volleyball season, McBride is a consistent blocker.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="181380" first="Ava" last="Norris"]</strong> (KIVA 17 Red National) is a junior defensive specialist/outside hitter from Sacred Heart Academy. Norris possesses solid back row skills, allowing her to excel defensively. Versatile, Norris can hit consistently from both the back row and the front row, </p> <p><strong>Cecilia Roberts</strong> (KIVA 17 White National) is a junior middle hitter from DuPont Manual High School. Roberts (6-2) uses quick attacks on offense regularly and reads the opponent’s hitters to set up blocks consistently. Roberts moves well from side to side, closing blocks regularly. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106666" first="Lydia" last="Stephens"] (KIVA 17 Red National)</strong> is a junior defensive specialist/outside hitter from Assumption High School. With a diverse skill set, Stephens is able to contribute in multiple categories. Stephens digs and pursues well in addition to being able to produce as a hitter from the left side of the net. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106670" first="Alexis" last="Strong"]</strong> (KIVA 17 Red National) is a junior opposite hitter from Assumption High School.
