’25 Setters You Can’t Miss at the Prep Dig Gauntlet

<p>The Prep Dig Gauntlet is fast approaching. And some of the best teams in the Midwest will be playing at the Milwaukee Sting Center in the three-day tournament. This is a high-level tournament that leads into the post-season where many teams will be attending either USAV or AAU Nationals.</p> <p>The setters in the class of 2025 have been impressive from the start and have great ball control. These setters will be fun to watch as they develop in their club and high school volleyball careers. Here are setters you can’t miss at the Prep Dig Gauntlet.</p> <h3>Hannah Kenny – 1^st Alliance 15 Gold</h3> <p>Hannah is an incredibly high-level setter. As a freshman, she earned All-State honorable mention in Illinois and has not slowed down since. As a setter, she has crazy soft hands and a quick reaction time. Hannah also is a huge asset offensively when she is in the front row. She is smart and powerful as a hitter.  She is a leader on this top-ranked team that qualified Open for USAV Nationals.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="177425" first="Olivia" last="Wagner"] – Northern Lights 15-1</h3> <p>Olivia is another setter that also hits in the front row. She is athletic, gritty, and smart on the court. Olivia runs the court like a seasoned athlete and only continues to gain experience. She has a high volleyball IQ and uses it to outpace her opponents. She has quick hands and is very fundamentally sound. This team qualified Open for USAV Nationals</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178032" first="Billie" last="Reiter"] – Sting 15 Gold</h3> <p>Billie can set and swing for this powerhouse team. She is a natural leader on the court and runs the offense very well. Billie moves the ball around and can push it pin to pin from nearly anywhere on the court. Her accuracy and decision making is impressive. Billie also has a lethal serve.</p> <h3>Kameron Blizniak – 1^st Alliance 15 Gold</h3> <p>Kameron has a super soft touch on the ball and is very precise with her sets. She puts great tempo on the ball and is very hard for opposing blockers to read. Kameron is also an offensive asset on this Open qualified team. She has a great jump set that allows her to speed up the offense.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178025" first="Jordan" last="Czajkowski"] – Sting 15 Gold</h3> <p>Jordan has crisp and clean form. She rarely makes a mistake and betters every ball she gets her hands on. She is also talented on defense and from the service line. Jordan has a keen eye and great attention to detail that helps her build up her strategy during matches. She is a talented setter to watch in this class.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178043" first="Madison" last="Marx"] – Sting 15 Black</h3> <p>Madison brings a lot of energy to the court. She makes smart decisions and has a great ability to make plays off tough passes. She is a leader on the court and always knows who her hot hitter is. Madison is constantly learning and improving her game.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178227" first="Alexa" last="Hernandez"] – FC Elite 15 Navy</h3> <p>Alexa is a smart and savvy setter. She will get her hands on every ball, no matter where it is on the court. She puts a lot of speed on the ball and is not afraid to take risks. Her confidence and high volleyball IQ are a dangerous combination for any opponents she goes up against.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178258" first="Delaney" last="Eldridge"] – Motion 15 Blue</h3> <p>Delaney is a quiet leader with great form and consistency. She is reliable in her sets and speeds up or slows down the game at just the right times. Delaney moves the ball around with seeming ease and makes smart decisions on the court.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178226" first="Madison" last="Tripp"] – FC Elite 15 Navy</h3> <p>Madison has an insane amount of potential as a setter. She already has consistent form and placement of the ball. She utilizes all of her hitters and is a force to be reckoned with on the court. Madison takes advantage of perfect passes and creates opportunities for her hitters in tough moments.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="117628" first="Clara" last="Hoegh"] – Northern Lights 15-1</h3> <p>Clara is a scrappy and gritty setter on this Open qualified team. Not only is she a talented and high-level setter, but she is also quick and reliable on defense. She makes huge plays on offense and defense. Clara has great court awareness and moves the ball around efficiently. She is talented, athletic, and a natural leader on the court. Ella has crazy fast hands and a clean release on the ball. She makes smart decisions and is hard to read.
