Fernandez will be with the TAV 17 Black Haroun team that will make a push in the 17 Open division of this week’s tournament. One of the top liberos in the state in her age group, she does excellent work on the backcourt, providing her team with great stability in their game. Fernandez is an elite passer and can easily cover half of the court herselft while mantaining her accuracy rate extremely high because of her ball control. The libero also gets a lot of touches when playing defense because of her long frame, which allows her to get to balls smaller liberos wouldn’t.

TAV 15 Black have one of the strongest backcourts in the state in the age group with Fernandez and Julianna Hernandez Julianna Hernandez 5'6" | DS/L Frisco Memorial | 2026 State #45 Nation TX taking shifts in the libero/defensive specialist roles. This dynamic has been turning out great for the two, who get to play defense in different positions and further expand their skillsets. Fernandez is great with her ball control and is incredibly quick to get to the ball when working on the backcourt, what also expands the area that she’s able to cover. Very technical, she is a reliable passer and does very well when covering her hitters too.

Fernandez recently emerged as an up-and-coming libero in the Frisco area. Her quickness on the court is truly impressive and the class of 2026 prospect also has great command of the backcourt. Her platform is always well done and that helps her control hard-driven hits that go her way, but Fernandez is very effective when it comes to displaying quick reactions and chasing tips. She’s very consistent and reliable with her passing as well.
