Kelzenberg is a force at the net and is a huge add for Vital Volleyball in 2024.  She’s making the move from MN Select to join forces with Olivia Moore Olivia Moore 5'10" | OH Eagan | 2025 State MN and Olivia Wagner Olivia Wagner 6'0" | S Lakeville South | 2025 State MN .  Kelzenberg and Vital Volleyball 17-1 Gold will be a force to reckon with this season.

I’ve never been shy about how much I like Kelzenberg’s style of play.  Her season with MN Select has prepped her for another big season with Wayzata who will be looking for yet another State Championship and National ranked season.  Seeing her at USAV GJNC in Chicago I noticed she is staying true to her dynamic style with the ability to drive hard and score in a number of ways.  Kelzenberg never shys from running a faster tempo and she is tough to stop when her team is in system.  She explodes into her jump and makes a great contact on top of the ball that leaves a lasting impression.

Kelzenberg is a work horse in the middle and she is consistently making sure she is available to attack even when the play is getting hinky.  She works hard to close the block and protects the net.  Kelzenberg has good reactions and can play defense after serving or take the short seerve before transitioning to take a big swing.

Kelzenberg has turned a lot of heads in the past year and she will continue to do that with Carly Gilk Carly Gilk 6'2" | RS Champlin Park | 2025 State #28 Nation MN as her right hand teammate.  Literally.  I want to claim these two as double trouble because that is exactly what they will be causing for a lot of attackers. Trouble.  Kelzenberg in the middle and Gilk on the right side will be a really tough duo to get past for the MN Select 16-1.  On the high school side of things, Kelzenberg has another 2025 counterpart that helps her keep opponents on edge.  As soon as they believe they have a break with Kelzenberg rotating out of the front row, here comes Reilly Kurth Reilly Kurth 6'2" | MB Wayzata | 2025 State MN !  Kurth continues to put the pressure on and helps wear down Wayzata’s opponents.

It’s no secret that I’m a Kelzenberg fan.  She is a ferocious competitor and intimidating 6’2 presence at the net.  After playing for Northern Lights 15 Black in 2022 and earning recognition as a AAU All Star in the 15 Club division last season she really embraced her training and took it to another level.  This past fall she earned Class AAAA State All-Tournament Team honors and helped Wayzata to another Class AAAA State Championship title.  In 2023 you will find her competing with the MN Select 16-1 squad.

Kelzenberg is a 6’2 middle that has been making her mark on the prep volleyball scene as a standout blocker.  You can clearly tell that she has a real desire to the best and that drive will take her far past her high school career.  Kelzenberg has shown she is capable of finishing points anywhere along the net.

Kelzenberg is everything you’d want from your middle blocker and she’d actually make a pretty great right side too.  She is strong, confident, and plays with a high motor.  At 6’2 with a strong frame Kelzenberg is intimidating at the net.  She blocks every type of swing and then returns the favor using fast footwork to create her own opportunities to take a swing.

I’m officially a Kelzenberg fan.  I saw her play in September for Wayzata and she was a solid role player but Saturday she was so strong and confident at the net it almost seemed like she was 2 or 3 years older.  Kelzenberg stands at 6’2 and is a playmaker both on the offense and defense.  She is driving hard and making herself available on EVERY play.  Kelzenberg’s work ethic was apparent even in a showcase setting and when you combine that with her talent you find a recruit that will be getting calls in June.
