Keller

Keller is coming off a state appearance in 2021, reloaded, and ready to go this season. They will have number 2 [player_tooltip player_id='87577' first='Taylor' last='Polivka'] back in the setting position, who has currently accumulated over 2,400 career assists. And for good reason, Keller has some amazing hitters. Returning middle [player_tooltip player_id='141125' first='Leah' last='Ford'] is an absolute blocking machine at the net. The USC commit has 252 blocks on record right now and has stacked up over 100 each season. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='176656' first='Kea' last='Whillock'] will be back on the back row. Her defense has gotten her considerable attention after her performance at the state game last year.

Colleyville Heritage

Morgan Howard will be leading the way for Colleyville Heritage at the setting position. The ULM commit has over 2,400 career assists, and her 5'11 frame makes her a threat at the net as well. [player_tooltip player_id='180469' first='Suli' last='Davis'] is lethal on the outside. You would never know she's only a sophomore by the aggressiveness of her offense. Senior outside [player_tooltip player_id='141132' first='Ella' last='Busey'] has gone off already this season, racking up 75 kills so far. She has been crushing the ball from the outside and playing like a leading senior.

Sachse

Sachse is always in the mix when it comes to competitive volleyball, making deep playoff runs year after year. One of the best middles in the region, [player_tooltip player_id='142220' first='Favor' last='Anyanwu'], will be a force after grabbing 167 blocks her sophomore year. She is only getting better from here, and opposing teams will have to take into account her presence at the net. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='180177' first='Kaelynn' last='Sims'] could be a big contributing factor on offense as well. All-around athlete [player_tooltip player_id='87564' first='Macy' last='Taylor'] will shoulder more responsibility as a senior. Which is the best-case scenario for Sachse because she can do it all, passing and hitting.

Guyer

Guyer looks great already this season, already picking up a 4 set win over Flower Mound. Baylor commit and all-around player [player_tooltip player_id='87534' first='Kyndal' last='Stowers'] will be key for Guyer for sure. She has just as many digs as she does kills, which shows she has worked on all aspects of her game. They have plenty of other options on offense like senior [player_tooltip player_id='179112' first='Lauren' last='Schneider']. They also have some of the best ball control in the region, stemming from junior libero [player_tooltip player_id='124158' first='Jordyn' last='Tynsky'].

Argyle

Argyle is looking good again this season. Argyle is set up with two really great setters. Sophomore setter [player_tooltip player_id='184252' first='Jordyn' last='Moore'] has already been playing well over 11 games. She plays with a lot of intensity and is really working her offense. [player_tooltip player_id='217510' first='Sydney' last='Payne'] will be setting as well, and as a junior, she offers a lot of experience at the position. Katherine Holtman will be back in the middle position and senior ULM commit Olivia Sanchez will be leading the team at the outside position.

Byron Nelson

Rounding up our teams to watch is powerhouse Byron Nelson. One of the only leading seniors is setter Keatyn Rodgers. She has done a great job leading some of the younger hitters to success. She just verbally committed to Hardin-Simmons University. Sophomore's [player_tooltip player_id='525231' first='Morgan' last='Inemer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='180462' first='Sydnee' last='Peterson'] are getting a lot more action at the pin-hitting position this season already. Sydnee is an all-around player for Byron Nelson, providing some good defense as well.
