We are over just a month away from playoffs. Rankings are starting to shake out and the cream is rising to the top. Last week's games definitely lived up to the hype. The battle of the Norths was an instant classic, with Norman North taking the match in five.

9/12 Victory Christian @ Claremore

We will kick the week off with a top 10 match up tonight between class 4A Victory Christian who has won five straight state titles at class 5A Claremore, who has gone to state four of the last five years. Victory lost two extremely dynamic senior outside hitters last season but they are still cruising along. They started the year ranked 14th in class 4A. They have slowly been ascending since then and rightfully so. They are far better than their record or ranking shows. Jaeden Roberts and [player_tooltip player_id='156874' first='Taylor' last='Motes'] are their go-to players that have helped them get big wins over teams like Edmond North, Coweta, Choctaw, and Rejoice Christian. Claremore is very senior led, behind setter Hannah Dorsey and middle blocker Ella Irvin, they are able to add pressure off the service line. They are one ace short of a combined 100 on the season. The Zebras have been plagued with injuries the last three weeks, but hopefully a few of the starters will be back in the line up for this weekend. This would be a good win for either team as we head down the home stretch of the season.

9/13 Mount St. Mary @ Community Christian

Two titans of the volleyball world and within the private school teams. They have multiple state titles between the two just in the past year. The 3A state champ vs the 5a state champs. [player_tooltip player_id='212407' first='Livia' last='Ward'] and [player_tooltip player_id='156859' first='Landry' last='Braziel'] will be huge factors in the match but some playmakers you may not know about are; DS [player_tooltip player_id='206957' first='MacKenzi' last='Bass'] and RH Gia McGrew for MSM and S [player_tooltip player_id='156845' first='Stella' last='Gorton'] and MB [player_tooltip player_id='145980' first='Ashlyn' last='Williams']. They all play key roles on their respective teams. Community Christian will look to add another high quality win to the resume and MSM is looking to stay perfect on the season.

9/13 Sand Springs @ Sapulpa

The Highway 97 rivalry has been renewed in both the football and volleyball worlds. New head coach Skylar Jackson has kept the Sandites in the rankings all season long. [player_tooltip player_id='145974' first='Layla' last='Lenex'] is a real threat in the middle, when she gets comfortable she can really put up big numbers. [player_tooltip player_id='145965' first='Olivia' last='Dewitt'] has looked to have gained some confidence and become a solid leader out on the court for them. The Sapulpa Chieftains will look to keep the trophy at their place for another year. [player_tooltip player_id='156857' first='Tyla' last='Heard'] has come back from her early season knee injury and already starting to impact the game. Stailee Heard set a school record recently with 26 kills in a single match. This game is always very energetic and carries a lot of school pride with it.

Week four is officially in the books. Plenty of great matches have already been played and more will be played in week five. We are essentially half way and this season is about on the downhill. We can't wait for playoffs and wish everyone the best en route.
