Schroeder is a setter that is not afraid to do the dirty work and take care of business. She is strong and can move the ball from pin to pin quickly. Schroeder is good at getting all of her attackers involved no matter where she has to set from. She reads the ball quickly off the pass and never takes a play off.

I first put Schroeder on my radar after seeing her compete in Milwaukee. She was steady, consistent, and moved the ball around to utilize every weapon she had available. Schroeder then made a jump in the rankings after I saw her at the Prep Dig Stock Up Showcase and I saw how she would quickly figure out what her hitters needed and make adjustmests. This is not always an easy task as a setter but a necessary one. And it really paid off for both her and her attackers.

Schroeder really knows how to move the ball around quickly. She does a nice job of getting it all the way out to the pin in order to give her attackers a lot of options. Schroeder isn’t afraid to use her middles to get the job done which isn’t always easy if you’ve had limited time to form a connection with them.

Schroeder has a wicked cross court float and she gets the bottom to drop out at the last second to give passers a fit. She is quick to the second ball and moves the ball around well to utilize many zones on the net. Schroeder has a nice clean release and provides her attackers with a lot of opportunities.
