Hepola is a 2026, UW-Stout commit that has been creating waves in the volleyball scene for several years. I remember a couple of years ago when she was only a sophomore that she reached her 2000 assist in the postseason in Rochester. While she has still been racking up assists, Hepola has transitioned into one of the roles on the team where she has been asked to do more than set, and she delivers. This year, the well-rounded Hepola already has 64 kills, 115 assists, 36 aces and 77 digs.

Hepola is a smooth operator when she is running the floor for her SMV team. No stranger to high level competition, Hepola already possesses the intangibles that typically require time to develop. She has experience, a high game IQ, and is a fearless leader. She also has excellent communication skills and knows how to connect with each of her attackers on the court. Combine all of those items with her quickness, great setting hands, and superb defense and you have high level setter ready to take the court after high school.

was in full control on Day One at Madness in Miltown. As a setter, she ran a clean, fast-paced offense that kept blockers guessing and her hitters in rhythm. Falon’s hands are smooth, her location is consistent, and her ability to make quick reads sets her apart.
She knows how to spread the ball, create opportunities, and elevate the players around her. From tempo changes to no-look dumps, Falon is a competitor who leads with poise and precision.
College coaches—if you’re looking for a floor general with a high volleyball IQ, Falon is a must-watch.~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

I saw Hepola play a number of times over the last club season and when I saw her this fall she hadn’t skipped a beat. She was doing a great job of working against the flow at the Class AA Showcase in September and running a solid offense. Hepola does a nice job with the location and consistency of her setting.

had a solid pair of games at the Twin Cities Challenge.
Against Eastview, the 5-foot-6 sophomore setter posted two kills, seven digs, and 13 set assists. She did well against Pine River-Backus with a kill, eight digs, and 27 set assists.
While Hepola’s specialty is setting up her teammates, she can slip in a get a kill. She has good placement on the ball, and her quickness can catch an opponent by surprise.

The Bombers are hitting their stride as Hepola settles in as the setter for the foreseeable future. This is putting her on our radar since she averages 10-11 assists per set and a total of 388 so far this season. Her volleyball IQ is improving every time she steps on the court, and with that knowledge and experience, she is growing into quite a leader. It takes a fearless competitor to succeed in this position at a young age. The sky is the limit with a young distributor, and I am excited to watch her the next few years!
