Swenson made her way onto my radar when I saw Belle Plaine at the Class AA Showcase this past fall. Shortly after she helped lead Belle Plaine to the Minnesota State Championships and garnered AA All-State Team honors. Swenson is a smart attacker that knows just where to place the ball and how to use the blockers hands against them. Wehn she gets warmed up she can hang and then speed up her armswing to execute her swing going over the opposing block.

Swenson is another athlete that we found this fall. She was highly dangerous and lethal from the outside pin at the Class AA Showcase. Swenson earned herself Class AA All-State Team and recently earned a spot on the MN Attack 18-1 team. She can unleash a freaky fast arm swing at the peak of her approach, and it leaves defenders speechless. Swenson can use her hangtime to wait for the ball to cross her before taking a big swing down the line.

Swenson sets up a strong block on the defensive side of things. She adjusts and gets around the block in order to nail the line shot. Swenson has the ability to find high hands or use a lot of power. She’s really finding her flow, and she has a really fast arm swing.
