The Sections are filling out piece by piece as teams advance. You may know some of these players and others you might not but you should. Even if they may be role players this year they are sure to have a bright future. There are top-ranked recruits like Anna Veurink, Madison Burr Madison Burr 6'2" | RS Cannon Falls | 2024 State MN , Rylee Nelson Rylee Nelson 5'9" | DS/L Zumbrota - Mazeppa | 2023 State MN and Luca Bredenberg Luca Bredenberg 5'8" | DS/L Southwest Christian | 2024 State #104 Nation MN . And then there are rising stars such as Hannah Klein Hannah Klein 6'1" | OH Albany | 2025 State MN .
Burns goes up and over the block and gets the ball to land right in the corner. On the next ball she can smoke the line. She’s got a number of tools and she’s not afraid to use them. Burns is leading her team with 202 kills and contributing 32 aces, 238 digs, and 12 blocks.
Bredenberg gets a ton of great touches and is solid in serve receive. On the other side she is a really tough server and has accumulated 17 aces. Bredenberg leads her squad with 330 digs and adds 40 assists on the season.
Martini is really explosive on the outside pin. She moves really well in transition and she is solid in serve receive. Martini keeps her team in system and terminates at the net.
Highlights
Burr has an incredibly high contact point that pairs extremely well with a heavy arm swing from anywhere on the net. Most of the time you will find Burr hitting over most blockers and terminating at a high rate.
Raasch was made to be a middle blocker with her aggressive style at the net. She has tallied 105 kills, 235 digs, and leads her team with 64 blocks.
Nelson is a lefty that can hang and outlast most blockers. She is very athletic and can take a heavy swing. Nelson has recorded 52 blocks, 298 digs, 18 aces, 376 assists, and leads her squad with 274 kills.
VanHeel is fun to watch as she is very explosive from either pin. She has 83 kills , 86 digs, and 10 blocks for the season.
