Class of 2023 All-State Nominations – Outsides Vol 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2022 High School season has been amazing so far!&nbsp; Along with our readers, we have been on pins and needles watching teams battle all season long.&nbsp; There have been some amazing tournaments and great district battles.&nbsp; We have been talking to coaches, reading tons of stats, and getting lots of video submissions from parents and players regarding how everyone has fared over the course of the season.&nbsp; As we are now into the playoffs, we will be discussing some players who are being nominated for our Prep Dig Texas All-State Awards.&nbsp; Our end-of-season awards are going to be different because we are going to consider all divisions/conferences together and pick the best of the best.&nbsp; The Outsides we will be discussing have been tearing it up and proving themselves all season long with some amazing statistics.&nbsp; Let's meet some of the nominees:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><a href="https://prepdig.com/player/alyssa-manitzas/"></a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='87567' first='Brooklyn' last='Jaeger']&nbsp;[2023] 5-9 Outside (HS: Fayetteville/Club: Texstar/ Verbal: Texas A&amp;M Corpus Christi)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brooklyn is the 105^th&nbsp;ranked prospect in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays for Fayetteville High School and also for [program_tooltip program_id='431340' first='Texstar' last='Volleyball'] club.&nbsp; We have profiled her a few times over the last couple of years and she has been a consistent attacker.&nbsp; Last high school season she led all of Texas in kills.&nbsp; This year is a little more of the same.&nbsp; I have watched her in person and she is a very explosive dynamo on the left side.&nbsp; While smaller than most outsides, she still plays very well above the net due to an awesome vertical and a crazy pop on the ball when she makes hand contact.&nbsp; She also moves the ball around the block very well as she has exceptional shot making abilities.&nbsp; Brooklyn has already tallied 847 kills on a very impressive and efficient .328 hitting percentage.&nbsp; The Texas A&amp;M Corpus Christi commit is having a stellar senior season.&nbsp; Seeing players from smaller schools be able to drop the hammer just as good as those from bigger schools is awesome.&nbsp; Please congratulate her on being nominated for an All-State award.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='176661' first='Bianna' last='Muoneke']&nbsp;[2023] 6-0 Outside (HS: Cy Ranch/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors']/Verbal: Texas A&amp;M)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bianna is currently ranked as the 11^th best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She stars on the outside for Cypress Ranch high school and also for the awesome [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] program.&nbsp; I just profiled her with an article last month and here is what I stated, “<em>While I watched her at the Volleypalooza tourney, Miss Muoneke was stellar to say the least in every aspect of the sport.&nbsp; She had almost every spectator in awe of her amazing vertical with every attack.&nbsp; Just when her team needed it, she seemed to revive them with a power shot.&nbsp; The entire varsity team would be electrified with energy with every swing.&nbsp; A player of her caliber brings so much to her team that the stat book doesn't keep track of.&nbsp; It was so much fun to watch her do her thing at a high level for so many matches.&nbsp; If Cy Ranch goes to state like many think they will, Bianna will be one of the main reasons and has a chance to earn MVP honors.”</em>&nbsp; She has been on a tear this year and has already tallied 767 kills on a whopping .405 hitting percentage.&nbsp; She has her team ranked in the top five in almost every publication's rankings.&nbsp; It is due in large part to her production as a scorer.&nbsp; She led Cy Ranch to a deep in the playoff run.&nbsp; Bianna is one of the best hitters in the entire country.&nbsp; Please congratulate her on being nominated for an All-State award.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='87528' first='Nayeli' last='Gonzalez'] [2023] 6-2 Outside (HS: Cornerstone Christian/Club: Alamo/Verbal: Iowa State University)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nayeli is currently ranked as the 3^rd best overall prospect in the 2023 class in the entire state of Texas.&nbsp; She is also listed as the 30^th best overall prospect in the nation according to our national rankings.&nbsp; She plays at Cornerstone Christian High School and also the famed Alamo club program out of the San Antonio area.&nbsp; We have covered her a few times over the last couple of years during club and she has only gotten better and better.&nbsp; The amount of power that this young woman has in her entire body is amazing.&nbsp; She has been on a tear this year and has already tallied 573 kills on an amazing .377 hitting percentage.&nbsp; Cornerstone Christian has been listed as one of the top high school volleyball teams in the entire country and Nayeli is a huge reason why.&nbsp; Her offensive production has been stellar to say the least.&nbsp; She is currently 6^th in the entire state in scoring for seniors.&nbsp; She is having one of the best senior seasons we have seen in a while and is one of the most talented scorers in the entire United States.&nbsp; She has proven this with wins over many top schools around the country in top level tournaments this year.&nbsp; Please congratulate her on being nominated for an All-State award.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='87581' first='Emma' last='Patmon'] [2023] 5-8 Outside (HS: Cedar Ridge/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Lafayette)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Emma is currently ranked as the 38^th best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays at Cedar Ridge High School and also club for Austin Skyline.&nbsp; Emma is what we like to call lightning in a bottle.&nbsp; Every aspect of her game is electrifying.&nbsp; We have watched her rise amongst the state rankings due to the hard work that she constantly puts in to working on her craft.&nbsp; She has tallied 601 kills on a great .254 hitting percentage.&nbsp; Every time this young lady rises up off of the ground the entire gym's eyes widen as they know they will see something spectacular.&nbsp; We have covered her for the past couple of years and have seen her progress so much.&nbsp; We are proud to have her nominated this season as it is very warranted due to her production on the court.&nbsp;
