[player_tooltip player_id='156859' first='Landry' last='Braziel'] is a six rotation outside hitter for Community Christian.   Question 1: How and when did you start playing volleyball? "I started playing volleyball when I was 12 for OK Charge on the UA team."   Question 2: What's it ben like being part of such an amazing run at CCS in your career? "Playing with so many great players and great friends making it to the state finals 3 years in a row, has been more fun that I could ever have imagined. My sister won 2 state championships when she was at CCS. So I always wanted to follow in her footsteps!"   Question 3: What are a couple things your teammates bring to the table that compliment your game? "I have been blessed to have played all 3 years with the same 2 setters, so it has made my job so much easier having played so ling with them both. Also, without our great passers I would never get so many opportunities without them."   Question 4: Have you had any offers yet? If so, does any of them stick out to you so far? Yes, I have gotten multiple scholarship offers, having visited UTEP most recently. I hope to take official visits to Wichita State and North Texas soon! Question 1: How and when did you start playing volleyball? "I started with a small league in 3rd grade through my elementary school in Missouri. After that, I had a friend whose mom was a coach and she started a competitive team and that is when I realized my love for the game. We moved to Oklahoma my 4th grade year and unfortunately I didn't start again until 7th grade."   Question 2: what has it been like being a part of such a tough high school conference? " I really enjoy playing in the toughest conference in Oklahoma. Because there are so many great players and a lot of competition; It has helped me grow as an athlete and a person. I am very competitive and playing in the Frontier Valley Conference has pushed me and is preparing me to play the next level."   Question 3: What are some things your coaches have taught you that have really helped you grow as a player? "One thing I have struggled with, especially early on, is remembering volleyball is a team sport. I have a habit of putting a lot of pressure on myself and when I mess up I have a tendency of thinking it is my fault if we lose. My coaches have helped me realize we work as a team and I have to focus on the game and my team instead of myself."   Question 4: What was it about Oklahoma University that excites you and makes you want to play there? "One of the main things that stood out to me every time I stepped on campus was the energy and culture. All the way down from the coaches to the players. When I made my decision, those factors played a huge part in me choosing OU. The coaches are fantastic, the players are great and I get to stay close to home. I feel extremely blessed because not a lot of players get this opportunity. #BoomerSooner"     Both players are top tier talent here in Oklahoma and will go on to the next level and do big things.
