Big Game Experiences Headline Class of 2024 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Class of 2024 showcased their abilities on Saturday at the Top 250 Expo. Several players were fresh off a Nebraska State Tournament berth. Let's take a closer look at this talented class:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5'5” Defensive Specialist/Libero [player_tooltip player_id='183983' first='Quinn' last='Groves'] </strong>from Papillion South High School and plays club for Premier. She read hitters well and hustled a lot, resulting in getting a hand on lots of balls. Groves was quick to get to balls and in position to play defense.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5'9” Setter [player_tooltip player_id='109586' first='Reagan' last='Hickey']</strong> from Papillion-Lavista and plays club for Premier. Hickey's floor defense was very impressive right off the bat during competitive drills. She was very vocal and ran the middle quicks so effortlessly. She jump sets everything and distributes the ball so well from all over the floor. She had 1,049 assists, 29 aces and 28 kills for the Monarchs this past season. Love her leadership and positive energy on the floor!&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5'9” Setter [player_tooltip player_id='253927' first='Maddie' last='Uhlir']</strong> from Bennington High School and plays club for Nebraska Elite. Uhlir was all over the place hustling after balls. She has fast feet to the ball and jump sets well. Maddie had 1090 set assists, 31 blocks and 28 aces for the Badgers. The Badgers fell to EMC foe Elkhorn North in the Semi-Finals.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5'10” Outside Hitter [player_tooltip player_id='105006' first='Jolee' last='Ryan']</strong> from Overton High School and plays club for Nebraska Pride. She has a heavy arm and has lots of shots. The Eagles fell to Howells-Dodge in the D-2 Championship 3 sets to 2 in November. Ryan had 28 kills in that loss. She did it all for the Eagles by hammering 442 kills, 42 ace serves and 331 digs. She is very athletic and hits so&nbsp;well from the pin or the middle. Keep her on your radar especially since Overton will have everyone back from this past year and will be hungry!&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5'3” Defensive Specialist [player_tooltip player_id='105830' first='Sydney' last='Guthard'] </strong>from Norris and plays club for Premier. Guthard is small, but mighty and was an absolute digging machine in the late night loss to Skutt in the Semifinals in November. She has a great jump float serve. She did a nice job frustrating the opposing side of the court during competitive games on Saturday.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These Class of 2024 would be great gets for any school!
