Augedahl sees the court really well and that is one part of her game that has improved tremendously over her prep career. She knows just when to pull out that tricky tip that goes just over the block. Augedahl makes the biggest impact with her block because she takes up so much space with all her length.

Augedahl has an impressive reach due to her long arms and jumping ability. These allow her to reach above most blockers and make contact at a really high point. Augedahl can run a great slide route as well as provide a big block on the defensive side.

Augedahl is one that shown great improvement over the club season. She’s always had a nose for the ball when it comes to blocking with her naturally long reach and ability to move across the net quickly. Augedahl is also really good and effortlessly push tipping the ball to the deep 1 corner out of the middle. And don’t bother serving short in her direction because she does a great job taking it with her hands and quickly transitioning for an approach. Augedahl has also streamlined her slide approach. She has quick reactions along the net making her a valuable asset in the middle. When she gets cooking she gets her arm up early and swings a hard angle.

Augedahl puts up a big block across the net and doesn’t have trouble closing the block. You also don’t want to try serving short near here because she passes the ball with ease and then is fast in transition to terminate. Augedahl can run a slide approach behind the setter and has a really high contact point.
