This past fall high school season, the 5’10 Starr assumed the role as the primary setter for state power Lake Catholic. Earning over 900 total assists in 2024 alone, she averaged 10.7 a/s. She dished 47 assists in the state championship match as the Cougars claimed another title in a 3-1 win. Starr is a savvy distributor as she has good footwork to pursue the ball and get on balance around the floor to maintain the moderate tempo while locating well for her hitters.
