About Della

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a 6-rotation outside I love having the flexibility of an outside or back row attack. I enjoy the challenge of serve-receive and continue to improve on passing. I'm a competitive, aggressive player who finds other ways to score when other teams close up blocks.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very competitive, multi-sport athlete. My competitiveness stands out on the court, and I enjoy being a leader to any team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

J&C Large Big School All Area 1st Team Sophmore Season(Fall 2023) All-Conference Sophomore Season (Fall 2023) 2023 JVA Watch List All-Conference as a Freshman in Softball NCC(4A) Raider Athletic Leadership Council

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

This is my 2nd year as the Raider Athletic Leadership Council Co-Chair for the Champions Together program. This program pairs athletes with disabilities with able athletes in our school and allows them to compete in competitions like Unified Basketball & Track. This program is especially important to me and takes many months of planning and coordination.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a program where I can contribute on and off the court. I'd like to stay within a 5-6 hour radius of home and a school with more students than my high school, which is around 3,000 students. There must be a fit academically, as I'm looking to enroll in Chiropractic school post a 4 year degree.

Bigger and stronger than Miss Jones, Della makes NCISVBC that much better with her presence. She can hammer any angle no matter where the ball is set, can use brute force to go through or off of blocks and is a point scoring machine who can get on a roll in a hurry. I’d like to see a bit more all-around play from Della, as that will complete her evaluation for college readiness. She’s still available, though, as of this writing, but not for long if she keeps improving like she has this season.
