Quickly earning many recruiting eyeballs, Gia’s explosive delivery of each and every arm swing she takes just sounds different than other outsides in this class. Big and physical, Gia’s ability to carry her squad all the way to the 15 Open quarterfinals is honorable enough, and the coaches in her division afforded her the opportunity to be celebrated as such. We’ll be watching with a close eye ourselves, as Miss Stokes is slowly becoming one of the best outsides to come out of Harrison in quite some time.

Boiler Juniors 15O Gold continued to chip away at teams and landed in the 15 Open quarterfinals.  They have a ton of ball control and balance and an outside named Gia Stokes.  Stokes moves effortlessly on the court where in the backrow she can serve receive, pass, and attack and on the outside she is able to use her athleticism and physicality to score in multiple ways.  Indiana is stacked with this Class of 2029 and Stokes will be one for schools to track this next year heading into June 15, 2027. 

If you want a heavy-hitting thumper for an outside, look no further than Gia. She’s got size, skill, length and a very strong shoulder that hits a heavy ball that’s hard to defend because of the pace alone. Looking more and more of a prototypical D1 outside every day I see her play, Miss Stokes should be one of the first off of the “big board” at this time next summer.
