Elite 2024's Still Available: Setters/Liberos

<p>We are about half way through the club season, and after watching countless matches and highlight reels, I have found 6 uncommitted setters and liberos according to their social media who should absolutely be snatched off the market. Take a look at the athletes below and their linked social media profiles. </p>   <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='189439' first='Rachel' last='Resta'] - Setter - TAV 17 Blue</strong></p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='189439' first='Rachel' last='Resta'] proved herself at Triple Crown after competing at a high level over 3 days. Her 5'10 frame and very strong upper body allows her to move the ball all over the court with ease. She has a great connection with all of her hitters, and runs a fast enough offense to keep opposing teams on their toes. She has a nice, soft jump set that she uses with all of her hitters. She is a part of a group of 2024 setters who would be a huge pick up for any college team. She plays for TAV 17 Blue, the second team, but if you have seen this group of athletes you know that this is one very strong second team. Another second team athlete, Gabi is an elite setter in her age group. She has poise under pressure and is scrappy on defense. She lead her team to a great finish at Triple Crown and really impressed me. Her whole team competes at a high level and at a fast pace. Gabi has excellent connection with her hitters and seems to be very effortless in her setting. I was on her court watching a different player and actually moved sides to get some video. Her team ended up loosing that match but you would never know from her fight and intensity. She was all over the floor, covering a lot of ground on defense and she was vocal which caught my attention. She would be an defensive steal for any college that picks her up. She is learning on the fly this year and showing her true athleticism being able to switch positions mid year and the trust and patience her team and coach has in her. The grind did not stop for Nia when she moved to the libero position. She is still an aggressive player with a lot of range passing. She is working her angles in serve receive and improving anytime she is on the court. Watch out for this libero to really come into the position later on in the season. She will definitely be one to watch. Morgan is an elite 5-1 setter with a lot of range athletically. Sure she can set the ball and run the floor like any top tier setter, but she brings even more to the table with her leadership skills and versatility. She still runs a 5-1 for her team while only standing at 5'7, but Morgan is an excellent blocker which you can see from the video below. Mia is always on her toes and moving to get the best read on the ball. She has a great reaction time on defense as well as an excellent read in middle back. She has great angles in defense and can pass the ball well from either side of her body. Mia seems to be able to play balls way outside of her range and does a good job of keeping the ball in play in tough situations.
