Updated 2024 Rankings are LIVE! Here’s a Look at the Update.

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The class of 2024 updated rankings are live! It is crazy because I remember doing their initial watchlist just a few years ago. Now some of these athletes are committed, and many are actively working through the recruitment process. These athletes continue to impress, and despite having watched this class since the start of their high school careers, we are STILL finding athletes to add to our watch list and rankings. Here is a quick look at what went into this update. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>A Lot of Excitement Around Recruiting</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is a big year of recruiting for the class of 2024. Some committed very early, but the vast majority of athletes are still in their recruiting process. A few high-level prospects recently committed, including [player_tooltip player_id='122569' first='Sophia' last='Wendlick'] to Creighton, [player_tooltip player_id='122566' first='Emerson' last='Van Lannen'] to Kansas State, and [player_tooltip player_id='122479' first='Emily' last='Bruss'] to North Dakota State. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If you have already committed, CONGRATULATIONS. If you are still recruiting, there is plenty of time to find your perfect fit! Remember, everyone's process looks different, and it takes time. I am excited to see athletes continue to find their homes for their collegiate volleyball careers!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>Movement throughout the Rankings</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There was very little movement in the top 20 in the class. But plenty of movement throughout the rest of the rankings. Some athletes made big jumps, including [player_tooltip player_id='122463' first='Malayna' last='Dins'], [player_tooltip player_id='122577' first='Briana' last='Binagi'], [player_tooltip player_id='181814' first='Abby' last='Bauer'], [player_tooltip player_id='194790' first='Maggie' last='Hahnke'], and [player_tooltip player_id='181738' first='Peri' last='Subat']. Some watch list players made the rankings, including Alexandra Grace Prange, [player_tooltip player_id='257824' first='Amelia' last='Gooding'], [player_tooltip player_id='257833' first='Trinity' last='Pearce'], and [player_tooltip player_id='302095' first='Greta' last='Pleuss']. And a few skipped over the watch list and went straight to being ranked. These athletes were [player_tooltip player_id='345261' first='Emily' last='Hansen'], [player_tooltip player_id='261359' first='Morgan' last='Van Wie'], and [player_tooltip player_id='345262' first='Mackenzie' last='Sonntag']. Needless to say, there are numerous stock risers in this class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We now have 200 athletes ranked and added over 20 to our watch list. As I said above, new (to us) athletes continue to catch our eye at tournaments! Some ways to get on our radar include tagging us with your schedule and highlights on social media (my Twitter handle is @PrepDigRachel) and creating a profile on our Prospect Index (https://prepdig.com/prospect-index/). While this doesn't guarantee you will get ranked, it is a great way to get seen by our scouts. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>Big Upcoming Tournaments</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some big tournaments are coming up including numerous qualifiers. We are into the heart of the season, and another rankings update will come out after the season ends. We are always at events, taking notes and looking for rising athletes. If you see a Prep Dig Scout out and about (some of us coach too!), come up and say hi! We love to chat and hear how your tournament is going. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
