Middle Prospects: 2026

As we released another watch list, we've been spending countless hours watching videos and researching stats to get an idea of who's who among this class. Today we will continue with our positional highlights by looking at some of the middles. She has good length and uses it to her advantage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='222105' first='Dakota' last='Gray'] - Beloit/Manhattan Mayhem</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gray was one of two freshmen who had impact seasons for Beloit in 2022. She played in 83 sets and had 93 kills. She plays her club ball with Manhattan Mayhem. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357591' first='Gillian' last='Walton'] -Shawnee Mission West/ Mavs</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A 6'0" freshman, Walton made her way onto the all-conference team in her first year. She is another player with good length and size and uses it to her advantage. She takes most of her swings in front of the setter and has good power behind her balls. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='355645' first='Molly' last='McDonald'] - Shawnee Mission East/[program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McDonald saw the court in her first year for East, seeing action in 36 sets. She made the most of her opportunity by collecting 41 kills. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357544' first='Suttyn' last='Harris'] - Inman/Air Capital Aces</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>684 kills. That's it. That's the line. She was dominant for Inman. She isn't too shabby for Air Capital too. She takes some heavy swings from the left pin while also knowing when to take the heat off with tips. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='222106' first='Carlyle' last='Johnson'] - Collegiate/Shockwave</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Collegiate freshman proved she will be a household name for years for the Wichita private school. She played in 78 sets in year one and dropped 168 kills. She is following that up with a strong club season with Shockwave.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='355653' first='Finley' last='Rieke'] - Tonganoxie/Club North</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rieke made a splash in her first year at Tonganoxie. She came in and showed she was ready for the big stage with close to 300 kills and 100 blocks. She is quick off the floor and strong off of two feet. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261114' first='Macy' last='Sims'] - Shawnee Mission East/Mavs 816</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A little varsity as a freshman can go a long way. Sims plays in 32 sets and earned quality experience.
