After announcing the All-Deck 18 Team yesterday it's time to break down the All-Deck 17 Roster.

This group of players are in the Class of 2024 and participated in HOA events that I scouted in February-April. Keep in mind, I could not see every club team, even if I tried, and this list is far from being all-inclusive. If I did NOT see a player in “real-real,” they were NOT eligible for this honor.

I reckon I saw more matches involving this age group during the club season; therefore, I had plenty of impressive performances to choose from.

So, without further delay, here is the first All-Deck 17-Club Team, and the All-Deck 16 Team will be released tomorrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='119707' first='Skyler' last='Pierce'], 6'2”, OH, Olathe West, [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 17-1

I have run out of superlatives to describe Pierce's game. Her talent amazes me every time I see her play. She finished with eight kills three digs, and one serve reception in a February Power League match. She is a college superstar in the making and that star will shine in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Maya Pridgett, 5'9”, MH, Cair Paravel, Topeka Elite 17-1

No player surprised me more this club season than Pridgett. She was the most dominant player I scouted at the Heart Challenge Cup in March. She finished with five kills and five blocks. She is a jumper and a physical beast.

[player_tooltip player_id='119708' first='Rachel' last='Van Gorp'], 5'9”, OH, Heritage Christian, [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 17-1

Van Gorp was a stat monster during a February Power League match. She finished with five kills, three blocks, three digs, and five serve receptions. Van Gorp is ranked No. 9 in the Kansas Class of '24 and committed to play at Iowa State University.

[player_tooltip player_id='119724' first='Jillian' last='Huckabey'], 6'0”, OH, Olathe Northwest, [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 17-1

Huckabey, is a hitting machine and totaled five kills playing only in the first set of a Power League match in February. She has committed to Florida International University.

[player_tooltip player_id='119709' first='Gracie' last='Morrow'], 6'0”, OH, Maize South, Shockwave 17-1

Morrow is just enjoyable to watch play. Morrow had 11 kills and nine digs in a Power League match in Lawrence. Morrow has committed to play for Wichita State.

[player_tooltip player_id='150065' first='Camdyn' last='Stucky'], 6'1”, S, Wichita Northwest, Shockwave 17-1

Stucky is arguably the top setter I saw during the club season. She is a six-rotation player with solid setting skills who can also hit and receive. She had nine kills, five assists, five digs, and three service aces in Power League action. Stucky has committed to play for the Tennessee Volunteers.

[player_tooltip player_id='150069' first='Fiona' last='VanDyke'], 6'0”, RS, Free State, [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] 17-1

VanDyke is a talent that can dominate a game. She finished with seven kills, three digs, four receptions, and two blocks in a March Power League match played in Wichita.

[player_tooltip player_id='152831' first='Maya' last='Houseworth'], 5'11”, MB, St. Thomas Aquinas, [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 17-1

Houseworth finished with five kills, two digs, one block, and four serve receptions back in February. She is a very versatile player and could possibly be a six-rotation player.

Emma Geier, 5'10”, OH, Andover Central, Kansas Rise 17-1

Geier is a confident player who cracked the roster by having a match at the Heart of America Cup in which she had eight kills, two serve receptions, and two digs.

Addie Budke, 6'1”, OH, Beloit, Manhattan Mamba 17-1

Budke is a tall scoring threat and has a huge wing span. She had seven kills and three serve receptions in a victory at the Heart Challenge Cup in Lawrence during the month of March.

Honorable Mention: As you can tell by the names above and where they fall in our rankings this was a super-talented group. Here are some other talented athletes in the class of 2024 who just missed being named to the All-Deck team: [player_tooltip player_id='119692' first='Sophia' last='Bond'], St. Thomas Aquinas, MAVS KC 17-1; [player_tooltip player_id='119733' first='Seenane' last='Brewer'], Lawrence, Pohaku 17-1; [player_tooltip player_id='152830' first='Kaitlyn' last='Burke'], Mill Valley, Pohaku 17-1; [player_tooltip player_id='304025' first='Ella' last='Burnett'], Erie, [program_tooltip program_id='430209' first='Midwest' last='Juniors'] 17-1; [player_tooltip player_id='119704' first='Cy' last='Rae Campbell'], Heritage Christian, [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 17-1; [player_tooltip player_id='152837' first='Lauren' last='Croom'], Blue Valley Northwest, [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] 17-1; [player_tooltip player_id='119723' first='Julia' last='Headley'], 6'2” St. James Academy, [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 17-1; and [player_tooltip player_id='119730' first='Ashlynn' last='Jaccard'], Lansing, [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 17-2; Ann Laincz, Lansing, [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 17-2.
