Class of 2022 Athletes on the Ultra Ankle JVA Watch List

Now to the final article on the Ultra Ankle JVA Watch list, our class of 2022 athletes! Eleven Badger Region athletes made the list and they all are talented young athletes. I have had the opportunity to see nearly all of these athletes play during the season so far and I cannot wait to see the rest of them as the season goes on. Morgan Daugherty - Middle Blocker - Milwaukee Sting - Prep Dig Rank #12 Morgan puts up a massive block. Her consistency in blocking makes her a dynamic middle. She is extremely fast and gives her setters a lot of options in the middle. She excels at running slides which is unique for her young age. Sydney Lewellin - Right Side Hitter - Capital - Prep Dig Rank #10 Sydney is a lefty who sets and plays right side for Capital 15 Adidas, making her an extremely dynamic and valuable. She is a talented setter and has a powerhouse swing on the right side. She is an extremely valuable player not only on offense but also on defense. Kendal Crawford - Outside Hitter - WI Juniors Riley Hamilton - Outside Hitter - Milwaukee Sting - Prep Dig Rank #13 Riley is a player that is really unique. She can play nearly any position and when she does, she gives it everything she has. In the few times I have seen her play she has played right side, outside, and defensive specialist. Each one she did remarkably and always brought high energy and consistency to the court. Natalie Ring - Outside Hitter - Capital - Prep Dig Rank #5 A freshman playing up on the Capital 16 Adidas team, Natalie is definitely an impressive athlete. She finds the seam of blocks well, has a powerhouse swing, and is a go-to hitter wherever she is on the court. Abbie Stigler - Outside Hitter - Milwaukee Sting - Prep Dig Rank #28 Abbie is a strong 6 rotation outside hitter for Sting 15 White. She is aggressive with her swings in both the front and back row and is great on defense. She is great at hitting the seam between defenders on the opposite side of the net and has a strong topspin serve that is tough to pass. Dorci Walker - Outside Hitter - Wisconsin Ice VBC - Prep Dig Rank #14 Claire Ameraal - Setter -Capital - Prep Dig Rank #18 Claire knows how to move the ball around. She is a strong setter with great leadership skills. Her energy is contagious and every time she steps on the court she has an impact on every single play of the game. Claire is a very talented athlete and will definitely go far in the sport of volleyball. Tatum Baldwin - Setter - Milwaukee Sting Tatum has strong hands and is a powerful setter. She can push the ball pin to pin and is very efficient on the court. Tatum also has a strong serve and has improved every time I have seen her play. Jordan Karlen - Setter - Capital - Prep Dig Rank #29 Jordan is another awesome setter who I enjoy watching play. She talks a lot and is very much a leader on her team. She has a lot of control with her sets and gets a touch on literally every ball. Jordan gives every ounce of effort she has to every play and it definitely shows. She is a great athlete and teammate on the court. Tatum Kebisek - Setter - Milwaukee Sting - Prep Dig Rank #20 Tatum moves the ball well and makes smart plays. She has a lot of potential and has impressed me both times I have had the opportunity to watch her team play this season so far. Congratulations to each of these athletes who were named to this list. It is a fun time of year as we hit the middle of the season and have had the opportunity to see many athletes play several times.
