Hayleigh Hennig Hayleigh Hennig 5'10" | OH Central Texas Christian School | 2027 TX , a Class of 2027 outside hitter from Central Texas Christian School and Austin Junior Volleyball , announced herself to the volleyball world early when she broke her school’s single-match kill record, a moment that set the tone for what has become a genuinely standout individual career. At 5’10” she has the frame to compete on the left pin at the collegiate level, but what makes her more than just a physical specimen is the multi-position versatility she plays with, functioning as an outside hitter, right side, and defensive specialist depending on what the system needs from her in a given match. That kind of adaptability at her size tells you the volleyball IQ and the willingness to serve the team in whatever role is asked of her is genuine. She attacks with a confidence and decisiveness that does not change based on the score or the moment, and her approach mechanics give her hitters the kind of clean, repeatable swing that comes from serious technical work. Hayleigh is a senior prospect with a record-breaking track record and the versatility to fit into a college system at multiple positions from day one. Hayleigh is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but she is on the official Watch List.  She plays volleyball at Central Texas Christian High School and club for the Austin Juniors volleyball program.  Miss Hennig is special because of her versatility on being able to play both pins.  She is the type of outside hitter who will be active in all phases of the game and can give a team a fighting chance to win because of the activity on defense and her whip of an arm.  I loved watching her play because of how fast she was all over the court.  She really turned my head a few times because it looks like she is not afraid of anything.  That is exactly the type of player that I would want to go into battle with.  As an attacker, she takes a mean swing at the ball with some awesome power.  A true six rotation player, she has total control over the ball on the serve receive and defensive end.  Keep your eyes on this youngster as she is ready to prove herself on the court this season.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the Expo. 

Broke a school record! Hayleigh is a 6-rotation OH for her Varsity team. We had a crucial district game to secure a spot in playoffs and keep in contention for 1st place. We went to 5 sets and were down 5-10 in the 5th set. Hayleigh rotated to the front row and absolutely crushed the ball. She scored 5 kills in less than 5 minutes and helped bring the score to 13-12. This also broke a school record and she finished the game with 27 kills! She also had her 5th double-double of the season and finished the game with 27 kills, 26 digs, 3 aces, 2 blocks, and 3 assists with 46 serves received.
