Pike (*pictured) has been so fun to follow throughout her career as the 5’11 middle has helped to elevate Anthony Wayne’s presence on the high school stage over recent seasons, while also helping her Toledo Volleyball Club team be very competitive among top teams in Ohio and around the country. 2024 was a big season for Pike as she had a career best performance 465 kills in a very effective and efficient way. She terminated a 53% rate and .453 efficiency as the Generals finished second in DII. Look for Pike, a Ball State commit, and her team to be in the hunt late in the season once again.

Pike does a great job commanding the middle. She has a quick release and great command of where the balls go. Pike does a great job leaning away from blocks and hitting balls away from great defensive specialists. Pike sees the court and makes the necessary adjustments to put balls down. Pike is hard to block because of her athleticism. Pike is especially tough on slides. Pike had 29 kills in the Division II state championship game. Pike is also the point guard for Anthony Wayne’s basketball team. She helped the Generals reach the state tournament for the first time in school history and finish state runner-up.

The Ball State commit continues to shine through the club season after helping guide her Anthony Wayne team to a state runner-up finish. She finished the high school season as a 1st team all-Ohio selection in DII. Some of the best parts of her action at the net offensively include her vision and awareness that leads to her ability to spray the ball around the court with good purpose and power. She and her TVC 17 Black squad are having solid club season thus far and they have positioned themselves well at the upcoming MEQ event as they open the tournament as the #9 overall seed in 17 Open.

Pike (*pictured) had a terrific 2024 high school season as Anthony Wayne fell just short of a DII state title losing in five sets in the championship match. In that final contest, the 1st team all-Ohio selection earned a team and season high 30 kills on a .438 efficiency to go along with six aces and two blocks. She had 465 total kills on the season for a 5.6 k/s average. The Ball State commit has elevated everything about her game since as she looks more assertive and confident in her ability to score around her setter. She will once again be with Toledo VC with their top 17U team this club season.

One can tell the chemistry the Pike twins have on the court with each other and it extends to their teammates. They put each other in good position to succeed and serve as good leaders on the court with great communication.

Pike is dynamic at the net for the Generals constantly finding ways to put balls past defenders and down. Pike can go off blocks and by defenders with her sound follow-through spikes. Pike can hit balls from different parts of the net including creases and from the pins on slide attacks. Pike has 417 kills on the season.
