Addie Bollier
About Addie
Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Dig Scout
Bollier has enjoyed a positive trajectory since competing as a Regina freshman. The Samford pledge has steadily improved through each phase of school ball and on the club circuit. She’s helped the Regals reach the state tournament the last two years and held it down in the back row for United squads that have won back-to-back regional championships. Like with most defensive specialists, Bollier has improved her consistency through high-end reps, especially in club, and through tough training. She’s continued to look more comfortable over time and grown as a leader. The junior moves smoothly around the court along with the action and gets herself in proper position to make plays. Bollier brings leadership and energy to the court. She helps keep her teams connected and everybody rowing in the same direction.

Bollier has used a memorable and production club season to catapult her into a strong start to her junior campaign. I caught her in action at the Iowa City High tournament in early September. A key component in Regina’s quest for back-to-back state tournament berths for the first time in school history, Bollier looked sharp in an event with larger schools making up the rest of the field. The Samford commitment boasts many of the traits one looks for in an impactful back-row performer. Sharp reflexes, lateral movement and quickness serve as the foundation for Bollier’s success. She maximizes those gifts by working hard on her craft and learning lessons every time out on the floor that will help her in the future.

I’ve watched Bollier’s skills grow steadily over the last year or so. She’s always had a good feel for the game, reading the attack and anticipating where the ball will be. It puts Bollier in position to make plays. Her reflexes and reaction times are solid, allowing her to cover a good amount of the court. Bollier does a nice job keeping the ball in play. Her teams stay in points. It’s been a noticeable step forward for Bollier this club campaign, and another jump during the 2025 school-ball season would raise her recruiting stock even more.
