Hot Hitters at the Dallas Stock Up Showcase

The hitters hold the spotlight on most teams because there are no offensive points without them. She is athletic, strong, accurate when hitting a target, and has boundless energy. She communicates and appears to have the ability to fire up her team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='355985' first='Laila' last='Harrell']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harrell is a 5'10" outside hitter from Desoto High School in the class of 2024. Harrell is very confident and calms her team on the court. She jumps well and is very athletic. She can block as well as hit and is flexible so nothing gets by her. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Claire Connor</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Connor is a 5'8" outside hitter from Weatherford High School in the class of 2026. She has great jumping ability and an aggressive air that intimidates her opponent's court. She is very athletic and stood out amongst all of these other superstar hitters as a sophomore. She is fast, athletic, and powerful. She is an athlete who can move around to the ball to make plays happen instead of waiting for them to be perfectly set. Forst is very aware of the court and has intelligence about the game that shows in her play. She makes sound decisions on the court and is a determined athlete. She also has all of the other traits of a good hitter, she is athletic, jumps well, and knows how to modify her attack to get past a block. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433610' first='Kylie' last='Meche']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Meche is a 5'9" sophomore outside hitter from Mansfield High School. Meche is a superior athlete. She looks great going through the paces at this event. She caught my eye as a great blocker as well as a great hitter. Seay has a laser shot that hits like a brick. She is a great jumper and athlete. She is quick and versatile on the court and really impacted the attitude on the court when she was playing. She talks and was really enjoying herself looking good on the court at the showcase. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433616' first='Nola' last='Gannon']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gannon is 6' right-side hitter from TAG High School in the sophomore class. Gannon can jump and that allows her to see over the block so that she can hit any target she wants while in the air. She is very athletic and has great hitting form. She is very smart on the court and does a great job digging up her own balls that have been blocked by her opponents. She would be great at the next level and looks ready now.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433608' first='Katherine' last='Carlson']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Carlson is a 5'8" right-side hitter from the class of 2025 at Plano East Senior High School. She is solid and has power when she hits. She is athletic and aggressive and I would not like to be on the receiving end of her kill attempts. She knows what type of a hit is needed at what time to get the job done for her team and score a point. Pierce is fast and fierce. She is athletic, strong, and has a great vertical. She is smart on the court and hits well no matter the situation. She can blast through a block as if it were not there. Garcia is smart and athletic. She is good out-of-system at getting a kill. She can save rallies with her jumping ability and flexible athleticism. She also has impressive blocking abilities. She can play the block great and beat it. She has a great vertical and is athletic. She knows where on the court to send a shot for a kill. She is very aware of her opponent's court positions and knows what to do to beat them. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
