Anna is a powerhouse right side that knows how to maximize her position’s impact. She is typically blocking the best hitter on her opponents’ teams, and she consistently lines up well and gets great touches and momentum-changing blocks. Anna has an explosive approach and a powerful arm swing. She adds value to both offense and defense and is a player to watch in this class.
Highlights
Olivia is a solid 6-rotation outside hitter. She balances all of the roles of a pin hitter so well. Her contributions to serve receive, defense, and offense are all significant. I saw Olivia play at the Prep Dig Resolution and the Battle at the Bay and her impact and improvement were amazing. She made the notes app during both events and she made a well-deserved jump into the rankings.
Evelyn is quick and scrappy as a setter. She never misses a beat on the court and will hustle down any ball that is hers. She gets her hands on the ball consistently and keeps all of her hitters engaged, even when she is on the move. Evelyn impressed me at the Battle at the Bay where I had the opportunity to see her team play multiple times.
Ellie is a setter to watch. She is incredibly athletic and a huge leader on the court. At the Prep Dig Gauntlet, Ellie was a regular stand-out and gave full hustle and effort on every play. She communicates well, has clean form, and is very driven and competitive on the court. She will be an impact player this high school season and is an athlete on the rise.
Highlights
Sydney has huge hustle and even bigger communication on the court. She consistently gets great touches on defense and serve receive. She caught my eye several times at the Stock Up Showcase and was a natural leader on the court. Sydney has huge potential and works hard on every play.
Highlights
Sophie is crazy-athletic and has a huge vertical. She knows how to manufacture points and can play all six rotations. Sophie jumps like she has springs on the bottom of her feet and seems to be able to pick her shots mid-air. Sophie has great court awareness and is a talented all-around player.
Sam is an impact pin who competed at the Badger Region High Performance Camp. Just making it to camp is a huge accomplishment. She was also playing up a year during the club season on a talented and fast-paced team. Sam has an explosive approach and fast and powerful arm swing. She can play all six rotations and adds a lot of value in both the front and back row.
Highlights
Addy was dominant at the Prep Dig Battle at the Bay. She excels on defense and serve receive and is always ready to pick up balls in coverage. Addy transitions quickly and effectively and moves her swings around. She has a powerful hit and manufactures points on the pin.
