Ten Athletes We Will See In The Initial 2029 Rankings

Our Prep Dig Wisconsin Class of 2029 Rankings will be released on Thursday, October 8.  This will be the initial rankings for this class.  This class has already made a mark in the high school and club volleyball courts.  From state championships to national championships on the club courts, there are 2029s who are soaring up on the radar of college coaches.  Lets take a look at ten athletes who will be among the initial 50 ranked.     She started her high school career with a state title for Sussex Hamilton, what an experience to raise a gold ball alongside your older sister (Brooke Baldwin now at Rutgers).  Following her high school season she saw great success on the club courts for [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting'] 16 Gold where they were among the top ten 16s teams in the country this past year.  She is someone who brings great athleticism and physicality to the court where she can defend and serve receive while also being an attacker who can score on the right side and outside.       [player_tooltip player_id='545529' first='Pacyn' last='Stoffel'] is a six rotation outside hitter where she can do a little bit of everything to help her team.  She is able to serve receive, defend, and bring plenty of shots to her game where she can score points in multiple ways.  She was a key part of the success for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 16 Elite, being part of the team who won the 16 American Division at USAV Nationals in Indianapolis this past summer.  Her high school team, Mosinee, is currently ranked 2nd in D2 where she leads the way averaging four kills per set with her team record sitting at 22-4.      The libero from Union Grove was a key part of the [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting'] 15 Gold team who was a 15 Open qualifier this past summer.  What is impressive about her game is her overall athleticism and blend of high IQ which makes a lot of her really difficult plays look routine.  She was a big reason why Sting 15 Gold had the success that they did with her first touch to get them in system.  For Union Grove she is averaging nearly four digs per set.  This is a deep class of liberos in Wisconsin and Tucker will definitely be on the radar among the top.      I first remember watching [player_tooltip player_id='760849' first='Attigun' last='Benz'] as an 8th grader when she was playing up an age group for Motion Volleyball at the Northern Lights Qualifier.  She had a no fear approach to the game where she had an aggressive swing, looking to create chaos for the other side of the court.  She is fast to the ball where she can cut the angle to hit zone 4 or zone 5 or turn it down the line.  Her electric style of play will be fun to see as she finishes the high school season for Johnson Creek and gears up for another club season.      Anytime there is a sophomore on the Waunakee varsity it means something.  For Whitney Williams who has found a spot on this team and has become a key contributor speaks a lot to her game.  Offensively she is averaging 1.6 kills per set with a hitting efficiency of .318.  However, defensively she is dominating the net.  She is third in the state for all classes in total blocks with 105.  Her length poses a problem at the net for her opponents.  She knows how to take up space and makes the other attackers think twice about going at her.  Her upside is exciting and she will be a middle to track in what will be an exciting year of 16s club.      There is a swagger to the game of [player_tooltip player_id='522967' first='Lilli' last='Lauersdorf'].  She is one of the top small school players in the state where she leads the way for a ranked Waterloo team in D4.  She averages 4.4 kills per set and is already at over 700 in her career where she has a few weeks left of her sophomore season.  She players her club ball for Tempo out of Waterloo where she was a standout for the 16s team this past season.  She could be a hidden gem, but her name should be one college coaches should know from the Class of 2029.  A true six rotation outside hitter who isn't afraid to swing big.      [player_tooltip player_id='915810' first='Brooke' last='Vanden Berg'] is part of the youth movement for Grafton High School where they made a splash in 2025, being a key piece for their state runner up finish.  This past offseason, Vanden Berg played for I AM VBC 15 Red where this team has plenty of athletes who can play at a high level. The six rotation outside has a well established fundamental game where she can serve receive, pass, and score points.  She is nearing 100 kills on the season while also tallying 131 digs.  There is a big upside to her game where she is ready for a breakout 16s season. But first, she will look to help Grafton back to the state tournament.      The libero from Kettle Moraine Lutheran has had quite the year.  She was able to play down an age group, but made a huge impact where she was part of the [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 14 Navy team who won the USAV 14 National division championship in Indianapolis this past summer.  She has quite the motor where she covers quite the range while being very solid in her base and in serve receive.  She has been a key part of the success of Kettle Moraine Lutheran team who is building a lot of momentum heading into the post season.  Swaney will be back for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] this summer where she will be one to track among 2029 liberos.      [player_tooltip player_id='522523' first='Addison' last='Kiekhaefer'] has been a key part to the success of Spiketown where she has played up an age group the past two seasons.  She has a great understanding of the game, solid fundamentals, and commands the court.  Her movement is extremely smooth getting her hands to the ball for her attackers to terminate.  She can go quick to her middles or shoot it to the pin while making it all look the same.  As a sophomore at Appleton East, she's surpassed over 500 assists on the season for the Patriots who are generating a lot of momentum at the right time in their season.      [player_tooltip player_id='894280' first='Ryanne' last='Eagon'] plays the game with a lot of power, athleticism, and physicality.  The six rotation outside is exciting to watch because each time she is set she is going to make something fun happen.  She's not afraid to swing big, but at the same time can mix in an offspeed to keep the other side off balanced.  However, she finds ways to impact the game beyond scoring where she can serve receive and defend while also scoring out of the backrow.  She was part fo the [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting'] 15 Gold squad who qualified for 15 Open this past summer, among the top 48 teams in the country.
